Flight Arrivals at Malpensa Airport

Milan Malpensa Airport is easily accessible by road. The A8 and A9 motorways connect the airport to the city of Milan, nearby Linate Airport and Italy's North and East. The A4 motorway links Malpensa Airport to the West and South of Italy. From Malpensa's two terminals passengers can take frequent airport shuttle buses and direct train services to many parts of northern Italy. Taxi companies offer services from the airport too, including companies providing chauffeur-driven cars.

The two terminals are linked by rail. Malpensa's Terminal 2 railway station is underground, accessible via a covered walkway. The train station is just 200 meters north of the Arrivals Hall at Terminal 2.

Onward world-wide destinations include Bari, Berlin, Brussels, Madrid, Cagliari, Cairo, Los Angeles (seasonal), Prague, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Edinburgh, Faro, Granada, Stockholm and Tel Aviv. The terminals have a travel agency where tickets can be bought.

WiFi services at Milan Malpensa Airport:

Malpensa Airport provides free unlimited WiFi connections at 2Mbps speeds. Passengers with a Boingo account can enjoy free of charge roaming. Simply select the Malpensa Free WiFi network from your smartphone, table, laptop or other portable device equipped with a WiFi card. Once the network is selected, you will be directed to a Welcome page that allows you to register via a simple form or via Facebook Login.

If you have previously registered with the Malpensa Free WiFi network you can access it simply by logging in with your account details. Anyone new to the network of Malpensa Airport must fill out the form on the Welcome page. When it's completed, you will receive an email to the email address you stated on your completed form. This email will contain a link that will confirm registration. Just click on it and then your WiFi connection is ready to be used throughout the terminal. If you're accessing the network via a Facebook Login, you can start using the Malpensa WiFi network right away.

Car Rentals at Malpensa Airport:

A wide range of both local and international car rental companies provide services at Malpensa Airport.

Terminal 1 Facilities

On the Ground Floor of Malpensa Airport there are ATM's in International Arrivals B area, Exit 8. Branches of Banca Popolare di Sondrio are open from Mondays to Fridays from 8.30 to 13.20 and from 14.35 to 15.35. On Saturdays banking counters are open from 9.05 to 12.00.

Euronet ATM's can be found on the Ground Floor in Arrivals, at exits 3, 4 and 5. There are also several ATM's in baggage reclaim areas A and B on the ground floor.

A Poste Italiane branch is open on the ground floor from Mondays to Fridays from 8.20 to 13.45, and on Saturdays from 8.20 to 12.45. The bank also offers an ATM on the same floor in the Arrivals area.

Foreign currency exchange offices are on the ground floor in Arrivals area A and Arrivals Area B (exit 5 and 9).

A baggage drop facility is located on the ground floor in Arrivals area B. It is open every day from 6.00 to 22.00 hours (Cores). Securebag on the second floor has ten stations open daily from 4.00 to 21.00 hours, where passengers can protect their baggage against loss or damage.

Bus and Train Travel at Terminal 1 Malpensa Airport

A travel agency and train and bus ticket office on the ground floor in Arrivals areas A and B. The Air Pullman ticket office is in Arrivals A and Autostradale ticket office is located in Arrivals area A and B. It is also available on the first floor in Boardings B26 to B34. A Terravision ticket office can be found on the ground floor, Arrivals B. it is open from 4.00 to 22.00 every day.

A Trenord train station ticket office is open every day from 6.15 to 21.20 in the railway station floor.

The Malpensa Bus Express stops travels between Milan Central Train Station, Fiera Milano City and Terminal 1, stopping at Terminal 2 upon request only. From Terminal the Malpensa Bus Express leaves regularly between 4.00 and 23.00 hours every 20 minutes. From Terminal 1 it takes 50 minutes to reach Milan Central Station.

Tickets can be purchased on board from the driver, or at Malpensa Bus Boxes in the Arrivals area of the terminal, or you can buy your ticket online. For time table information, please visit https://autostradale.it. A single journey costs 8.00 euros for an adult and 5.00 euros for a child.

Terravision buses also operate the Malpensa to Milan route, travelling every 20 minutes between the airport and Milan Central Station during the hours of 5.05 and 00.10. It takes 50 minutes from Terminal 1 to reach the central railway station, and 40 minutes from Terminal 2. You can purchase tickets from the driver on board the Terravision bus, or at Terravision boxes in the Arrivals area or you can buy your ticket online at www.terravision.eu.

Malpensa Shuttle bus services connect to Milan Central Railway Station, but also go to Milano City Fiera. The service runs every 20 minutes during the hours of 5.00 and 1.20. It takes 50 minutes from Terminal 1, and 45 minutes from Terminal 2, where the shuttle only stops upon request. Tickets can be purchased from the driver on board the shuttle, or online at www.malpensashuttle.it.

A direct connection by bus to Milano City Fiera is provided by Air Pullmann buses. The service is only available during scheduled exhibitions organised by Fiera Milano, departing from Malpensa Airport at 9.00, 9.30, 10.00, 10.30, 11.00 and 11.30 hours. Taxi and Car Transfers from Terminal 1 Malpensa Airport

A European Limousine desk is located in Arrivals area B on the ground floor. It is open daily from 6.00 to midnight.

Radio Taxi Malpensa has a desk in the same area. It is open daily from 7.00 to 22.00.

The fixed fare for a trip to the city of Milan and back is 95.00 euros. Travelling between Linate and Malpensa airports costs 105.00 euros return. A return trip to Rho Fiera is charged at a fixed fare rate of 65.00 euros.

Other Services at Terminal 1 Malpensa Airport

Malpensa Airport also has a pharmacy on the ground floor in the Arrivals area, which is open from 8.00 to 20.00 every day. The First Aid station in also on the ground floor.

Terminal 2 Facilities

Currency exchange facilities are located on the ground floor and first floor. The ground floor desk is in check-in, where it is open daily from 6.15 to 19.45, and on the first floor in Departures. It is open every day from 5.15 to 21.45 hours.

A Securebag office for baggage protection is located on the ground floor in the check-in area, where two stations are open daily from 4.00 to 21.00.

Bus and Train Travel from Terminal 2 Malpensa Airport

It takes between 40 and 45 minutes to reach Milan Central Train Station by bus, leaving from Terminal 2.

Ticket offices for onward train travel are located in the underground train station. The Malpensa Express ticket office is open daily from 8.30 to 22.25.

An Air Pullman ticket office is located on the ground floor near baggage reclaim. It is open daily from 8.00 to midnight.

Bus travel tickets are available from Autostradale's ticket office on the ground floor in Arrivals. The office is open daily from 7.30 to 21.30 hours, and in the baggage reclaim area from 8.00 to 23.00 hours.

Bus tickets are also sold by a Terravision ticket office on the ground floor, in the baggage reclaim area. This ticket office is open daily from 8.00 to midnight.

Other Services available at Terminal 2 Malpensa Airport

A First Aid station is open every day on the ground floor. It is located just outside of the main exit.

A pharmacy is also located on the ground floor. It is open daily from 5.00 to 19.00 in the check-in area.
